Hey, I wanted to let you know I've landed a new job. I got a promotion from NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Oregon - Development Director - and am now working with NAMI National as a Regional Walk Manager. Finally after 6 years, I feel that I've found m y "real" niche. Of course, CareerMakers was instrumental in getting me here. In my new job I am literally doing ALL the things I identified on my compass (training, motivating, leading, public speaking, making a difference, working from home, traveling, etc.)! WOW! I will be traveling over 50% of my time around the nation helping to implement the NAMIWalks Program. I am responsible for working closely with 23+ Walk sites (out of 70) around the nation in helping them reach their fund raising goals through the Walk Program. How awesome is that?

Anyway, I must tell you and the CareerMakers staff the YOU all made this happen for me. As Christmas is again approaching (and Thanksgiving past), I always like to reflect on what I'm grateful for. You must know that I am thankful to CareerMakers (you, Pam and Anne). You make differences in many people's lives!!
